| i remember cal sobrepeņa drawings in lovelife komiks but for me the most memorable one is a mini series in Speed Komiks during the 80's called Philippines 2000. (Masama ba ang mangarap?). I don't remember na who wrote the story, but i'm sure it's cal's illustrations.

| cal sobrepena is my favorite komiks illustrator. when i was a teenager, i always buy lovelife komiks because of his illustrations. i'm saddened to know that he passed away in 2004, i hope that one of his children is also as talented as him. he will always be the best komiks illustrator for me. no one can beat him. |
